This is currently the best working app in the App Store to access googles "my places" map data. It is also the most polished of the bunch. The developer has been good about rolling out updates, but there is still some place mark and map editing capability that needs to be added to make this the hands down winner. Also can not view more than one map at a time, and it seems as though I have to re-select the map every time I open the app. Still, I use this daily for work, and getting directions to your place marks integrates beautifully with iOS and googles app (I use both) Overall, upgrading to pro is definitely worth it, and this app has a lot of potential to become a home-screen must-have.

I make my own maps of places to go especially when traveling to a city. But googles own apps and mobile site are almost impossible to view these maps. This app does just what I need, easy quick access to view my google places and maps.

when sending a my places location to google map, it includes the name after the coordinates. and the search fails.

Since google updated its map app MyMap doesnt open directions or show in google maps, the button is dead. Also I would love if you can search your places, I have a lot of custom places and scrolling through them is a pain. Other than that its a great app.

The latest version of Google Maps as of August 2013 no longer allows you to access "My maps", rendering it pretty useless for travelers who pre plan locations online and save them in Google maps. This app brings back the "My maps" functionality and does much more. Shame on Google for not integrating this functionality into Google Maps in the first place. I liked this app so much, I paid for it!

I would rate this higher if the Open in Google Map Link is fixed.

I cant view the place mark in color when retrieve the map from google account...

This app is amazing for marking everywhere you dont want to miss while traveling, like restaurants, museums and shops. But sometimes it doesnt let me mark a place for no apparent reason. Overall, its very much worth it!

Couldnt do anything without upgrading to pro version. Very disappointing.

Works great for viewing and adding to Google My Maps! Everything they have and advertise works great! My one request/complaint is that you cant edit points youve previously created; I would LOVE that! Also, it would be great of you could select zoom levels when grabbing offline maps, like if you just wanted interstates or highways, but not small city streets. Its still leagues better than the rest of the apps, so it still gets 5 stars IMHO.

This app works and Im using it heavily everyday. It is a little rough around the edges, but better than anything else I have found. It would be much better if google were to build this functionality into their maps app, but I shall not hold my breath. Thanks go out to the author as it is making my new life in Japan much easier than it otherwise would be.

Good app for utilizing Google Maps- best I can find. Helpful for viewing maps. Stable. Functionality increasing with every release. Developer responsive.

I got this with the expectation that it would show "My Places" from the current, "new" Google Maps, but it doesnt - only shows maps from "classic" Google Maps. Just tested this - created maps in new and classic maps; only the latter shows up. Needs fixing (and a note about this in the description till its fixed).

Seeing as its a pain to see your Google My Places maps on your iPhone and this app lets you do it without a fuss, thats a big win. Various downsides to he basic version (Apple maps only, cant see your map icons) and Google Maps (inability to Cache an area) seem to be addressed in the Pro Version.

This app is nice. It simply places all of my places as pins, enables me to tap for info and then allows me to open up google maps for navigation.

Doesnt work with new Google My Maps engine. Any new maps I create dont show up on the app.

I wish the google maps app had this functionality. But this app works very well and as described.

Thanks to developer for release this kind useful and reliable software which capable to open my customised maps, edit placemarks and route with native ios maps or google maps. Only request is when I tap a place anywhere on the map, it would be useful to show coordinat as Latitude/Longitude for using another navigator programs.

This is really useful for accessing maps youve made on Google maps. Very nice interface.
